Linglong Specialty Tire has extended the warranty period for its radial agricultural tyres from 5 to 10 years from the date of manufacture. The extended warranty is valid for tyres sold from January 1, 2025, and covers all normal operations on farms, including arable farming, grassland management and livestock farming.
“The fact that we are happy to double the warranty period for our agricultural tyres to 10 years is further proof of Linglong’s continued focus on quality and durability,” said Jean-Paul Spijker, Director Sales and Marketing Specialty Tire Europe. “At present our range covers tyres for all types of agricultural machinery, be it tractors, trailers, forage haulers, combine harvesters or silage cutters. We continue to expand our range and the growth of our market share in Europe is further proof we are not just any tyre manufacturer from China.”
Linglong’s extended warranty covers all tyre damage due to potential manufacturing defects, such as groove cracking, tread separation, shoulder separation, sidewall separation, bead separation due to impurities at the interface of the rubber material, tyre cavity separation, or an exposed cord in tyre cavity, and uniquely, also covers stubble damage coverage. It doesn’t cover tyre damage caused by obstacles and or road hazards while in operation, abnormal wear, or tyre problems caused by improper installation or the use of the wrong wheels and rims. The warranty doesn’t apply to agricultural tyres used on construction sites, quarries or in forestry, as Linglong has dedicated tyres for those heavy-duty sectors that are even more resistant to punctures or damage.
