Kumho Tyre has announced that it is to supply original equipment (OE) tyres for the Volkswagen Tiguan.
The Volkswagen Tiguan is classified as a compact SUV and is built on Volkswagen’s latest MQB Evo platform. The Tiguan, a flagship Volkswagen model, boasts superb agility, high fuel efficiency, and enhanced safety.
The primary model in the ECSTA lineup, the ECSTA PS71 SUV is a premium sports tyre designed specifically for high-speed driving. The Tiguan will be fitted with two sizes, 215/65 R17 and 235/55 R18.
The ECSTA PS71 SUV has been engineered with structural reinforcements tailored to the characteristics of SUV. The tyre maximises the contact area, enhancing braking performance and fuel efficiency. It is optimised to deliver exceptional handling and braking capabilities on both dry and wet surfaces. The ECSTA PS71 lineup includes a wide range of options such as SUV tyres and passenger car radial (PCR) tyres, and it also accommodates main types of electric vehicles.
