KOTTAYAM, SEPT.13:
Spot rubber showed a mixed mood on Friday. Declines in the domestic and international futures and the absence of genuine buyers kept RSS 4 under pressure during late trades. Traders mostly preferred to stay back owing to the long Onam holidays beginning on Monday next week.
Sheet rubber weakened to Rs.185.50 (186.50) a kg according to traders. The grade slipped to Rs. 186.00 (187.00) a kg at Kottayam and Kochi as quoted by the Rubber Board.
The September contracts dropped to Rs.184.75 (186.44), and October to Rs.183.53 (182.83) per kg while the November contracts improved to Rs.183.57 (182.30) and December to Rs.185.40 (184.13) per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
RSS 3 (spot) closed weak at Rs. 167.99 (168.85) per kg at Bangkok. The September futures surrendered to ¥ 257.1 (Rs.163.57) from ¥ 266.7 per kg during the day session but then recovered partially to ¥ 258.5 (Rs.164.46) per kg during the night session on Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM).

RSS-4: 185.50 (186.50)
RSS-5: 182.00 (182.00)
Ungraded: 176.00 (176.00)
ISNR 20: 172.00 (172.00)
and Latex 60%: 134.00 (133.00)
