KOTTAYAM, OCT. 5:
Spot rubber finished marginally higher on Saturday.
Most counters remained steady and almost inactive during the weekend session but sheet rubber RSS 4 firmed up to Rs 166 (Rs 165.50) a kg, according to traders.
This was followed by a better closing in domestic futures. The trend was mixed. October futures improved to Rs 169.70 (Rs 167.64), November to Rs 168.90 (Rs 167.17), December to Rs 170.95 (Rs 168.88) and January to Rs 172.56 (Rs 171) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates Rs/kg were: RSS-4: 166 (165.50); RSS-5: 161 (160); Ungraded: 155 (155); ISNR 20: 157 (157); and Latex 60%: 129 (129).
