KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 21.606 billion and the number of lots traded 16,924. Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 5.942 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 5.645 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 3.253 billion), DJ (PKR 3.064 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.716 billion), Copper (PKR 719.297 million), Silver (PKR 463.039 million), Platinum (PKR 333.849 million), Natural Gas (PKR 230.792 million), SP 500 (PKR 219.402 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 18.940 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 19 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 20.372 million were traded.
