KOTTAYAM, FEBRUARY 22:
Spot rubber finished weak on Saturday. The weekend session was comparatively inactive but major counters lost further on buyer resistance. The trend was mixed.
Sheet rubber dropped to Rs 147 (Rs 147.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted steady at Rs 148 and Rs 145 respectively, by the Rubber Board and dealers.
March futures slipped to Rs 147 (Rs 147.86), April to Rs 151.80 (Rs 152.89), May to Rs 155(Rs 155.71) and June to Rs 156(Rs 157.29) while July futures improved marginally to Rs 156.90 (Rs 156.55) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (Rs /kg) were: RSS-4: 147(147.50); RSS-5: 145 (147); Ungraded: 144(144); ISNR 20: 147(147); and Latex 60%: 120(120)
