KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) — The highly anticipated Business-to-Business (B2B) Meet between Indian Rubber Products Exporters & Malaysian Importers will be held here on March 6.
Supported by the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KLSICCI), the meeting is organised by India’s premier International Trade Facilitation & Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) in association with the High Commission of India here.
The High Commission said in a statement here Friday that the meeting will include the participation of 15 leading Indian rubber products manufacturers seeking to sell and establish business ties with Malaysian rubber products importers.
According to the statement, the meeting will discuss the opportunities for India’s enterprises in Malaysia.
President of Malaysian Rubber Products Manufacturers Association Dr Ong Eng Long will also deliver a keynote address on fostering links between India and Malaysia’s rubber industries.
Chairman of Rubber Products Panel of CAPEXIL and Delegation Leader M. F. Vohra meanwhile said that the developed countries are vacating a number of manufacturing segments and relocating them to India.
“With all its resources in technology, trained and skilled manpower, abundance of raw materials and also excellent domestic market, India is in a prime position to attract these industries,” he was quoted as saying in the statement.
The statement also said that CAPEXIL has set up exclusive one-to-one business meetings accordingly to ensure full optimisation of time in the event.
Set up in 1958 by India’s Ministry of Commerce to facilitate exports of chemical and allied products, CAPEXIL has over 4,000 member exporters across India, exporting 16 broad product genres and representing the best in their fields.
