KOTTAYAM, OCT. 13:
Domestic rubber prices closed weak on Saturday. In the spot, the market lost ground following sharp declines on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
Sheet rubber dropped to Rs 187 (188) a kg, according to traders. The grade dropped to Rs 188 (188.50) a kg , according to the Rubber Board.
October futures declined to Rs 186.30 (190.50), November to Rs 182.65 (185.37), December to Rs 181.30 (184.41), January to Rs 183.02 (186) and February to Rs 185 (187.06) a kg on the NMCE.
Spot rates were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 187 (188); RSS-5: 179 (180); ungraded: 173 (173); ISNR 20: 169 (170) and latex 60 per cent: 122 (123).
