KUALA LUMPUR (Apr 14): Malaysian rubber prices extended its weakness amid worries that top buyer China, was slowing down purchases.
The easier sentiment was also in tandem with the downtrend on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
The noon benchmark Malaysian Rubber Board official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 declined 0.5 sen to 580.5 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk decreased 4 sen to 479 sen a kg.
The 5pm unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 fell 0.5 sen to 576.5 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk dipped 4 sen to 477 sen a kg.
