United States manufacturing output data rose last month and factory activities in New York accelerated sharply this month, buoying hopes of a strong rebound.
The Malaysian Rubber Board’s official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 shed two sen to 536.5 sen a kg but latex-in-bulk added half-a-sen to 461 sen a kg.
The unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 gained half-a-sen to 537 sen a kg while latex-in-bulk rose one sen a kg.
