Spot rubber lost ground on Thursday. The market remained under pressure in absence of genuine buyers at higher levels following the declines in the domestic futures on the NMCE. Sheet rubber declined to ₹146.50 (147.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade moved down to ₹147 (148) and ₹144(145) a kg respectively, according to Rubber Board and dealers. The July futures dropped to ₹144.74 (145.05), August to ₹144.45 (144.90) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹129.74 (129.92) a kg at Bangkok. The June futures slipped to ¥206.8 (₹122.35) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
