The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) would like to place on record its thanks to garage forum member, Hayley Pells, who has taken on a new position with the Institute of the Motor Industry.
Her tenacity, enthusiasm and knowledge accrued from running a successful workshop, Avia Autos, spread among OESAA members during her tenure and involvement with the organisation.
From spearheading garage forum and member meetings, where she always had an idea to share or a view on an industry topic, to providing content for OESAA’s growing social media channels, which included unique jobs within her workshop, Hayley has been a valuable asset.
OESAA Chairman, Nigel Morgan, said: “It has been a privilege to work with Hayley; her charisma, desire and ideas were contagious, and she always lit up our meeting rooms or events. I am sure she will be a tremendous success in her new post and, on behalf of OESAA, I wish her all the best for the future – though, I’m sure our paths will cross again!”
Hayley added: “Working directly with Nigel and the OESAA members has been a great experience and one that I hope will continue in my new role, as the importance of OESAA’s work within our community cannot be underestimated.
“I look forward to continuing the positive relationships that have been formed, and I will continue to spread the message that affordable private transport is available to everyone, and this is robustly supported by quality manufacturers to repairers in our sector.”
OESAA looks forward to continuing its garage forum relationship with Avia Autos and, in particular, Connor Holland, who will be taking Hayley’s seat.
