KUALA LUMPUR: The local rubber market prices continued to decline on stronger ringgit and negative external sentiment, a dealer said.
At the close, the Malaysian Rubber Board’s official physical price for tyre-grade SMR 20 fell three sen to 522.5 sen a kg, while latex-in-bulk dipped 4.5 sen to 429.0 sen a kg.
The unofficial closing price for tyre-grade SMR 20 fell four sen to 521 sen a kg and latex-in-bulk slid 4.0 sen to 427.5 sen a kg.
