DELHI, India—A center to help solve manpower problems in the Indian Rubber Industry has been created by two rubber industry groups and a public-private organization that promotes skill development.
The Delhi-based Rubber Skill Development Centre has laid out its plans and begun operation. It was set up by the National Skill Development Corp. in collaboration with the All India Rubber Industries Association and Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association.
RSDC Chairman Vinod Simon said the center will assist the rubber sector across “all skills pinch points.” It is beginning by preparing an inventory of skills for the industry and identifying development needs.
