The domestic rubber prices were weak on Friday. In spot, the most active counters RSS 4 and ISNR 20 lost ground following the disappointing reports from futures. Sheet rubber dropped to Rs 126.50 (Rs 127) a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade slipped to Rs 123.50 (Rs 124), according to dealers.
The September futures declined to Rs 125.30 (Rs 126.07), October to Rs 123.74 (Rs 124.66), November to Rs 123.60 (Rs 124.57) and December to Rs 124.20 (Rs 125.01) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
RSS 3 (spot) slid to Rs 107.34 (Rs 107.59) at Bangkok.
September futures closed at ¥185.3 (Rs 106.46) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (Rs /kg): RSS-4: 126.50 (127); RSS-5: 122 (122); Ungraded: 110 (110); ISNR 20: 106.50 (107) and Latex 60%: 88.50 (88.50).
