Spot rubber prices ruled weak on Tuesday. RSS 4 declined to ₹118 (₹120) a kg, according to traders. The grade dropped to ₹119 (₹120) and ₹116 (₹117) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. November futures surrendered to ₹119 (₹120.57), December to ₹116.11 (₹117.63) January to ₹116.35 (₹118.18) and February to ₹118.80 (₹119.69) for RSS 4 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹100.83 (₹100.98) at Bangkok. November futures closed at ¥189.6 (₹100.75) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (₹/ kg) were: RSS-4: 118 (120); RSS-5: 112 (113); Ungraded: 106 (106); ISNR 20: 105 (106.50) and latex (60% DRC): 76 (77).
