Spot rubber resumed the downward journey on Monday. RSS 4 declined to Rs.117.00 (118.00) per kg according to traders. The grade weakened to Rs. 117.50 (118.00) and Rs. 114.50 (115.00) per kg respectively as reported by the Rubber Board and dealers. Meanwhile latex improved marginally on slightly better demand amidst low supply.
The December futures slid to Rs. 115.50 (116.53), January to Rs. 115.78 (116.57) and February to 115.15 (117.51) per kg on National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
RSS 3 (spot) surrendered to Rs. 102.19 (103.64) per kg at Bangkok. The November futures dropped to ¥ 189.3 (Rs.100.57) from ¥ 189.5 per kg during the day session but then bounced back to ¥ 190.0 (Rs.100.94) per kg in the night session on Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM).
