Taiwan’s CPC has settled 2015 toluene term contracts with three to four buyers at a discount of around $5/mt to the Platts FOB Korea marker, a source close to the company said Monday, December 8.
CPC was offering two options for its term contract — a 3,000 mt cargo per month or a 3,000 mt cargo per quarter.
The source did not disclose further details on settlements with individual customers.
In the first half of 2014, the company had settled term contracts at a premium below $5/mt to the FOB Korea marker, while for the second half of the year, the term contracts were settled at around minus $10/mt to the FOB Korea marker, according to the source.
