Japan’s November ethylene and ethylene derivatives exports rose 6% month on month to 195,700 ethylene equivalent ton, or EET, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said late Monday.
The exports were down 7.5% year on year.
Japan’s exports were driven by styrene monomer, which increased 32% from October to 32,813 EET, the ministry said.
The country’s November ethylene and ethylene derivatives imports rose 2.8% from a month earlier to 55,400 EET.
From a year earlier, the imports were up 3.2%.
