Spot rubber weakened on Tuesday. The market remained under pressure following the declines in the domestic futures and global trendsetters. The daily reference price for RSS 4 was quoted at ₹127.15 (₹128.15) a kg by the Rubber Board. The grade weakened to ₹121.34 (₹123), according to traders. January futures declined to ₹117.23 (₹121.30), February to ₹119.50 (₹122.25) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) dropped to ₹105.96 (₹106.78) at Bangkok. January futures closed at ¥187 (₹98.08) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 122 (123); RSS-5: 111 (114); Ungraded: 102 (103); ISNR 20: 109 (110) and Latex 60%: 82 (84).
