Spot rubber prices were unchanged on Friday. Market activities were at a low key as there were no active buyers or sellers to set a definite trend. RSS 4 was steady at ₹121 a kg, as reported by traders. The daily reference price for the grade was quoted marginally higher at ₹125.35 (₹124.45) by the Rubber Board. February futures slid to ₹120.15 (₹120.53), March to ₹121.13 (₹121.20) and April to ₹122 (₹122.24) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹104.47 (₹103.72) at Bangkok. January futures closed at ¥192 (₹99.92) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (₹/ kg) were: RSS-4: 121 (121); RSS-5: 112 (112); Ungraded: 103 (103); ISNR 20: 106 (106) and Latex (60% DRC): 78 (78).
