HAMBURG: South Korea’s Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. has purchased around 30,000 of rice to be sourced from the United States and China in an international tender on Friday, European traders said.
The purchase included about 20,000 tonnes of US rice purchased at $ 961 a tonne, they said.
A further 10,000 tonnes of Chinese origin rice was purchased at $ 998.78 a tonne, they said.
