HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares were slightly down by the midday break on Tuesday, compounding losses incurred the previous day on weak Chinese and US manufacturing data.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped 0.13 percent, or 32.59 points, to 24,378.83 on turnover of HK$ 39.79 billion (US$ 5.13 billion).
