European petrochemical producer Styrolution has reduced its acrylonitrile butadiene styrene prices in October by Eur120/mt ($133.9/mt), the company said on its website.
The announcement followed a fall in contract prices for styrene and butadiene earlier in the week.
The Northwest European October styrene monomer contract price fully settled Thursday at Eur990/mt FOB ARA.
The settlement represents a month-on-month fall of Eur210/mt from the September contract price of Eur1,200/mt.
The European butadiene contract price for October was fully settled at Eur670/mt FD NWE, down Eur25/mt from the September contract price.
ACN spot prices were assessed at $1,020/mt CIF Med Tuesday, down $120/mt from the end of August.
European ABS contract prices were assessed at Eur1,620/mt FD NWE in September, down Eur85/mt on the month.
