Spot rubber declined on Wednesday. RSS 4 weakened to ₹132 (₹134) a kg, according to traders. The grade surrendered to ₹133 (₹134) and ₹130 (₹131) respectively, according to Rubber Board and the dealers. May futures declined to ₹129.30 (₹131.41), June to ₹130.15 (₹133.38), July to ₹130.50 (₹133.73), August to ₹130.50 (₹134) and September to ₹131.50 (₹135.34) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
May futures closed at ¥174.0 (₹106.55) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates ₹/ kg were: RSS-4: 132 (134); RSS-5: 130 (132); Ungraded: 114 (118); ISNR 20: 120 (122) and Latex (60% drc): 103.50 (104.50).
