Injection molder and toolmaker Montrose Molders Corp. of Piscataway, N.J., is adding new machinery and expanding its warehouse.
Montrose supplies several industries including point-of-purchase display, food service, lawn and garden, lighting, storage totes and desk organizers.
The company recently added a 720-ton Nissei injection molding machine to its fleet of 51 presses, increasing its capacity for larger parts like food service trays, storage totes and retail shelving. Montrose also added three 140-ton Nisseis and a 180-ton Nissei replacing some older equipment.
The firm is adding 29,000 square feet to its 60,000-square-foot warehouse, located about a mile from Montrose’s headquarters and manufacturing facility. The space is used for assembly, tool storage and warehousing.
