India: Spot rubber closes unchanged

Spot rubber closed unchanged on Tuesday. RSS 4 finished flat at ₹126.50 a kg, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The grade quoted steady at ₹122.50 by dealers. The volumes were dull. June futures weakened to ₹125.85 (125.14), July to ₹128.31 (128.62) and August to ₹130.50 (130.80) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE). RSS 3 (spot) declined to ₹111.58 (113.23)at Bangkok. June futures improved to ₹105.52 (104.91)on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 126.50 (126.50); RSS-5: 122 (122); ISNR 20: 122 (122) and Latex (60% drc): 88.50 (88.50).
