Singapore — MEGlobal has nominated its August Asia Contract Price for monoethylene glycol at $1,120/mt CFR Asia main ports, down $30/mt from the July nomination, a company source said Wednesday.

The August ACP reflected the short-term supply and demand situation in the Asian market, the source added.
There are three MEG ACP sellers in Asia — MEGlobal, Sabic and Shell.
MEG was last assessed Tuesday at $895/mt CFR China, down $10/mt from Monday.
