HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares tumbled in the morning session Thursday, tracking a sell-off on Wall Street, as Asian markets were hammered by trade and geopolitical worries.
The Hang Seng Index shed 1.80 percent, or 455.18 points, to 24,794.60 by the break.
Shanghai’s composite index sank 1.42 percent, or 37.09 points, to 2,566.21.
