Spot rubber improved on Thursday. RSS 4 firmed up to ₹128 (127) and ₹127.50 (127.00) per kg respectively, according to traders and the Rubber Board. The market regained strength on covering purchases as sellers stayed back owing to supply concerns. March futures closed at ₹126.90 (126.66) on the Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX). RSS 3 (spot) inched up to ₹124.64 (124.45) at Bangkok. March futures weakened to ₹112.11 (112.98) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) : RSS-4: 128 (127); RSS-5: 124 (122.50); ISNR 20: 123 (122) and Latex (60% drc): 82.50 (82.50).
