The new K602 professional off-road design with a tread depth of 27.5 mm has barely been on the road in quarries and on demanding construction sites when KRAIBURG Austria launches a lightweight version. Like its “big brother”, the K612 is available in the K_base compound variant, has a tread depth of 23 mm and was designed by the Austrian retreading specialists for extremely tough applications. Both treads have a specially developed tread base which, thanks to its robust construction and innovative rubber compound, significantly reduces the risk of damage in the tread groove in the negative area. This not only contributes to safety, but above all to the best possible durability thanks to the outstanding resistance. The tread pattern is designed for maximum grip, which ensures excellent traction even in the most adverse conditions. Like the K602, the K612 can be fitted in both summer and winter. Snowflake labelling and 3PMSF certification make this possible.
“Introduced at the beginning of the year, the new K602 has successfully replaced the previous K64 in many areas. Our retreading partners and users are very satisfied with its performance,” explains Christoph Priewasser, Head of Product Management at KRAIBURG Austria. “So, we have now decided to launch a suitable successor to the K62 in the form of the modern K612.” The new K612 tread is now available in a width of 250 mm with a tread depth of 23 mm. The 260 mm width will follow in the spring. Further information at kraiburg-retreading.com
