Newly-appointed Falken Tyres dealer Venture 4×4 Group has experienced strong sales since it began offering products from the Sumitomo Rubber Industries manufacturer three months ago, as part of a drive to expand its tyre-fitting operation.
“As a company, we have specialised in 4x4s for over 16 years now, but the tyre-fitting side is a relatively new arm to the business,” says James Taylor, manager of Venture 4×4 Group, which is based in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire. “What attracted us to Falken is the range. It covers everything, providing a vast range of sizes as well as run-flats and a good selection of off-road and all-terrain tyres.”
Venture 4×4 Group is an independent garage that offers tyre fitting to the Shipston-on-Stour area, as well as customers from Warwickshire, North Cotswolds and the Gloucestershire border, which supports its longstanding position as a 4×4 service provider. While the majority of its customer base own 4x4s due to its history as a specialist in that sector of the automotive market, Taylor has been encouraged by the wide range of vehicles the company has fitted tyres on thus far. To this point, Venture has sold more van and car tyres than it has off-road and all-terrain.
“It’s come to a surprise to us that we are selling more van and car tyres than off-road tyres, so we are going to keep pushing,” he says. “Our customer base is always growing, and we are getting people who are prepared to travel quite a way to see us.”
Taylor adds that Falken tyres are a strong choice for Venture because of how easy they are to fit and the performance level they provide.
“Fitment wise, Falken tyres are nice and easy. They go on well and they include the yellow dot to aid balancing, which not every tyre has. I haven’t had any issues at all. Quality-wise, they are good too, and we have had zero complaints. All the feedback has been positive. We have had one customer already contact us to say that switching to Falken has transformed their car. All of us working at Venture will be putting Falken tyres on our cars next.”
