As a part of its strategic focus on its Swedish customers’ optimal access to an extensive product portfolio with quick and convenient delivery, the NDI Group has begun constructing a new warehouse for the expansion of NDI Sweden.
Warehouses with strategic locations and convenient and efficient delivery have been some of the most important focus areas of the NDI Group for many years. Since the company’s establishment in 1970, they have continuously expanded and optimised its physical presence across the Nordics.
“We do it because we want to ensure our customers have a better delivery, expand our product portfolio and achieve even more efficient operations of our warehouse, tells CEO at NDI Group, René Kristensen.”
Better service and profitability
The expansion of the warehouse at NDI Sweden is the latest initiative as a result of the strategic focus on improving the service and convenience for customers in the Nordics. With more than 5000 square metre expansion, NDI Sweden will store 140000 car and van tyres in the new building.
“We are constantly working to improve our availability in all markets we operate in. Last year, we opened our new warehouse in Masku, Finland, and we also began constructing our new, central tyre warehouse in Norway, René Kristensen tells and continues:
With the construction now begun at NDI Sweden, we are finalising our current plans to optimise our warehouses all across the Nordics so that we can offer our customers an even better service. At the same time, we are ensuring more profitable operations with the new logistically and technologically optimised warehouse facilities.”
According to the plans, the new warehouse expansion at NDI Sweden will be finished in July 2022, around the same time as the new central warehouse in Norway is also to be completed.
