Mechanics at an autocentre in Worksop are gearing up for the open day of their latest branch, and the first to open this year.
The new Worksop branch of Formula One Autocentres is the latest to be opened by the family owned company and will be bringing the total number of garages throughout the UK to 128.
The opening will be taking place on 17th February, and bosses of the new branch have said they were thrilled to soon be revealing the garage to the public, after months of planning.
Five jobs are set to be created at the newly built bespoke centre, which will be servicing the community and surrounding areas.
Hundreds of thousands of pounds have been invested into the site, which is based in Unit 1A on High Grounds Road, Rhodesia. It is positioned to the soon to be opened Premier Inn, along with the already opened Dunkin’ Donuts and Taco Bell.
Simon Jennings, Digital Director at Formula One Autocentres, said: “We really are pleased to be opening our 128th store and this is a great accomplishment for a family owned business. This shows that there is huge demand for quality car services in Nottinghamshire, but also throughout the UK, and we are proud to be able to offer this to the community, and boost employment too.
“We have invested thousands into creating this, and our other garages. For us to be able to create five jobs for many talented mechanics and back-office staff is something we are really proud to be able to do. Our garages are always run to the highest of standards, so we have been on the lookout for the very best talent available.”
The new garage for motorists will be offering tyres, MOT, servicing and batteries, and will be open 7 days a week. The garage is open between 8.30am and 6pm, Monday to Fridays, 8.30am until 5pm on Saturdays and 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
The family-owned company has been running since 1969 and has 128 branches across England offering a full range of services including tyres, exhausts, batteries, brakes, clutches, MOT’s and servicing.
