KOTTAYAM, MAY 14:
Spot rubber was mixed on Wednesday. Sentiments were almost neutral, lacking local guidance as the domestic futures remained closed owing to ‘Buddha Poornima’. RSS 5 and ungraded rubber improved on supply concerns amidst scatted transactions.
Sheet rubber was quoted unchanged at ₹141 a kg by traders. The grade firmed up to ₹141 (₹140.50) and ₹138 (₹137.50) respectively, according to the Rubber Board and dealers. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹123.22 (₹122.45) at Bangkok. May futures closed at ¥196 (₹114.65) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 141 (141); RSS-5: 138.50 (138); Ungraded: 135.50 (134); ISNR 20: 132 (132) and Latex 60%: 112 (112).
