KOTTAYAM, DECEMBER 23:
Though the Government has issued the notification and Rubber Board published the daily rate at ₹130 a kg, for RSS 4, traders have not responded yet and stagnation continued as there were no enquiries from major consuming industries in the market. January futures firmed up to ₹126 (₹123.79), February to ₹127.08 (₹124.77) and March to ₹128 (₹125.48) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) improved to ₹107.78 (₹106.70) at Bangkok. The Tokyo Commodity Exchange remained closed on account of ‘The Emperor’s Birthday’.
