Continental has received original equipment approvals for the new compact SUV BMW X1 and is supplying the Munich-based premium manufacturer with EcoContact 6 Q tyres in 18″, 19″ and 20″. And with the WinterContact TS 860 S, BMW dealerships are offering an exceptionally safe winter tyre to get you through the cold months.
Continental developed the EcoContact 6 Q to support highly economical driving, whatever your vehicle’s drive type. This is achieved thanks to a special rubber compound that reduces energy absorption through the tyre while the vehicle is in motion, which, in turn, reduces friction. In addition, Continental has optimised the tyre tread and so further reduced rolling noise. The EcoContact 6 Q is also characterised by its exceptionally long service life and outstanding handling.
