Kumho Tyre announced that it is to supply original equipment (OE) tyres for the CUPRA Terramar.
CUPRA is a brand under the Volkswagen Group, and the Terramar is classified as a compact SUV and is built on Volkswagen’s latest MQB Evo platform. Representing a key vehicle in CUPRA’s expanding range, the Terramar features a sporty design that combines hybrid technology and practicality.
The primary model in the ECSTA lineup, the ECSTA PS71 SUV is a premium sports tyre designed specifically for high-speed driving. The Terramar will be fitted with 235/55 R18.
The ECSTA PS71 SUV has been engineered with structural reinforcements tailored to the characteristics of SUV. The tyre maximises the contact area, enhancing braking performance and fuel efficiency. It is optimised to deliver exceptional handling and braking capabilities on both dry and wet surfaces. The ECSTA PS71 lineup includes a wide range of options such as SUV tyres, passenger car radial (PCR) tyres, and electric vehicle tyres.
